Ok, I have never liked basketball, maybe because I down right stink at it. But I sure don't knock those who do like it.
My Mom played in High School, as did my brother.
I even went and bought basketballs and a goal for my youngest son, thinking he might like it. He's predicted to be 6'9" or 6'10" as an adult (that remains to be seen), but does stand at 5' 8 1/2" tall at 11. He doesn't like it either. I even made myself go out and shot baskets with him. No good.
I don't pull for any pro teams, and I refuse to be a person who jumps on the band wagon. If I HAD to pick a team, for this I would go local and go for the Miami Heat.

Wrestling
Sports Entertainment Wrestling. As in WWE: Smackdown, RAW and ECW and also, TNA.
My youngest son got my hooked on this.
Yes, we realize they are story lines. But, we are amazed at some of the moves these guys can make.
We have our favorites.
From RAW: My fav-Jeff Hardy now that Edge has moved to Smackdown. My son's fav-HBK.
From Smackdown: My fav-Edge. My son's-Matt Hardy
From ECW: My fav-Tommy Dreamer. My son's fav-Sandman
From TNA: My fav-Kurt Angle. My son's fav-Sting.
We watch each and every show we can. We are in front of the TV most, Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday nights without fail.
I have yet to shell out any money for the Pay-Per-View's, but we do follow them on the computer.

Football
Football is my favorite sport of all time.
I live for Sunday's during football season.
Since my football watching buddy and myself, don't like our local sports team, sometimes we have to go hit a sports bar to watch our teams. We live in Miami Dolphin County and we are fans of the New York Jets and Tennessee Titans. We rarely get our games at home.
When we do get games at home, we plan get togethers around the games. Cook outs and football and drink-what could be better?
Going to watch our teams, is the best. I will have to say Miami Dolphin fans are a good group of people. Out of 5 games (3 Jets and 2 Titans @ Miami) only once did I ask security to escort us to the car (my football watching buddy is my youngest son, and I surely wanted to watch out for his safety, since the Jets had beat the Fins.) The rest of the time, we had generally good conversations with them, and have met some very interesting people there.
I have also caught a few games in Nashville. They are probably the most kind hearted fans I have ever met. My son has been to several Titans games in Tennessee, his favorite seats so far-The Club Seats.
I am losing some of my respect for the Titans Club though. I think they aren't doing all they can to keep some players in line. And as long, as there are troublemakers, I can't put my heart into it.
